Email: June 17, 2019 - The Sheriff and the deputy go to Venice, Compton and the Spanish program

Howdy everybody! The deputy is back once again. This week was packed and very busy.

P-day consisted of us going to Venice (I don't really recommend it. Just go once to say you have been then never go back. It's whack)

While we were there we watched a street performance by the Calypso tumblers (apparently they have been on America's got talent and in movies and stuff) it was cool. They were break dancing and doing flips for about 10 minutes of the whole 45 minute show and the rest was a bunch of filler and racist jokes.

At one point they wanted 3 white guys from the audience to come join them and nobody was raising their hand, so they went into the audience to pick. I was standing there and one of the guys walks up to me and looked me up down and sideways and he got this look on his face, but before he could even say anything, I shut it down, and it's a good thing I did.

The remainder of the week consisted of us going in a back to back exchange with our zone leaders and then our district leader. We also had a great proselyting week and were hit almost all of our goals. Elder Seipel and I have been feeling really good about this transfer and we are really excited to finish it out strong and do as much as we can while we still have our time together.

I hope everyone as usual is having a great week and that all is going well back home. I love you all!
