Email: March 4, 2019 - I feel young again!

Come one come all and gather around because it is another weekly email from Elder Barton.

There won't be much in the email, but I'll start with the big stuff. Transfers.

So, we got our regularly scheduled 6 week call and it looks like Elder Ormond and I will continue our tenure in the Northridge 1st ward but I guess Heavenly Father wanted to step up our game because we now double cover the Northridge YSA as well.

Fun fact about the YSA, it covers the entire San Fernando Valley which is 3 stakes, so we have even more work cut out for but I am excited but also nervous at the same time. Excited because I have a lot more room to work with, nervous because a majority of the finding for YSA is street contacting on the college campus and street contacting has never been my strong suit so we will see how this goes.

As for our week it was pretty slow, there wasn't a lot of work and it was really getting us discouraged and it looked like we weren't going to find anyone. But since Heavenly Father is so good, He blessed on Sunday night and we were able to find a new friend to teach who just so happens to be YSA age (this was before we knew)

Other than that, not much happened. I'm just trying to make sure my head is straight and take on this new task so please wish me the best!
