Email: October 28, 2019 - "How long have you been out? You may not know my costume!”
Yeah, I
didn't know her costume. It was someone from into the spiderverse.
The week was quite the interesting
week. I had my MyPlan interview with President Adams this week at the Visitor Center.
It was a fantastic interview and he gave me some really good counsel and a lot
of things to think about for when I get home.
I also had my final interview with
President Cordón this week. He helped me be more OK with going home and again
gave me some great advice to think and ponder about for when I get home. One of
the most important things he told me was that I'm allowed to go home happy, I
mean I served an honorable mission so why go home sad and missing it? I gave a
tithe of my life and I served well, so now it's time to take those positive
experiences and habits and apply them to the rest of my life.
The last thing this week was the
ward trunk or treat for both Studio City and North Holly wood. We were asked to
be judges for a chili cook off (only one chili got entered in to the
competition so that made it easy) and for Studio City we were asked to be
judges for the costume contest and that was super difficult because the Studio
City ward tried really hard and there were some impressive costumes.
Finally, we had the primary programs
this week which was a nice way to end.
Interesting story for the week. We
were talking to a member and they told us about all the paranormal experiences
they have had in their life and that continue to happen, so next week we
are going to be dedicating their home 👍
reminds me of my time with Elder Mora.
Till next week!
Take it easy and enjoy the moments!
