Email: October 7, 2019 - "Where is Egypt?"

This quote is from President Cordón at the new missionary training. We were assigned our new companion and he gave us a motivational training that was absolutely amazing.

Speaking of new companions, I now know who mine is! His name is Elder Fratto and he is from Payson, Utah! He is a pretty cool guy and we are going to work super hard until the end!

Speaking of working, it's starting to pick up even more here. We met a less active part member family the other day that has a lot of potential in the gospel and they want us to teach them and it's going to be awesome.

We are also teaching another woman named Niahm (pronounced Neve like Steve) and she has absolutely loved the Book of Mormon. She has found it to be super relatable to the things she is going through in her life right now. I guess that's what scriptures do.

General conference was an absolute blast (it felt like it went super fast too) lots of excitement for next year. Hopefully I could get tickets.

Other than that, not much happened this week it's been pretty low key

Brother and Sister Haynie serve as temple ordinance workers. Brother Haynie serves as a director of public affairs and is a former stake president, bishop, ward mission leader and missionary in the Japan Nagoya Mission. Sister Haynie is a former stake Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Relief Society and Young Women president, director of public affairs and temple preparation teacher. Born in Magrath, Alberta, Canada, to Eldon McBride Peterson and Mirra Heninger Peterson.
