Email: October 1, 2018 - The Super 6 Salvation Seekers and the bottle of sin
Hello everyone! This week was full of hilarious moments
To start for P-day last week we went back to Palos Verdes so brace yourselves for a bunch of pictures again. That place is just so beautiful
Also, there is 90% chance of rain Wednesday. Please pray that it will actually happen. It hasn't rained in about 7 months.
This week at the end of our weekly service we were given a 2-liter bottle of diet Pepsi (which neither Elder Mora or I drink) and as we were walking back to our car a man screamed out his window how soda is a sin. Hence the bottle of sin.
On Wednesday our mission president called us because he heard we may possibly have bed bugs (which we don't). So, by order of our mission president, we had to deep clean our apartment, wash all of our bedding and clothes. So that pretty much took up most of the day.
Also, this week I have now had Armenian, Palestinian, and Hawaiian food. So, mom and dad I am expanding my palette 馃槀
This week we did a lot of knocking but unfortunately we haven't been able to have any success. However, we are working with many part member and less active families so hopefully we will see success on that end.
This week we also had the first district council of the transfer. We discussed many wonderful topics and we decided our district name will be The Super 6 Salvation Seekers. I didn't pick it, but hey, it works. I love my new district, about half the district got transferred but I love the new half just as much as the last.
Not much else happened this week. Our zone has really been focusing on online proselyting so I'm being much more active on my Facebook so don't worry, I'm not being disobedient
I hope everyone has a wonderful week where ever you may be!
