"In heaven you are going to be chilling on a cloud playing video games"
"Jesus was a party animal"
Just some funny things people told me this week.

Hello everyone. To be honest I'm not really sure what happened this week. Looking back, I don't remember much.

We had some good conversations with people this week, but nothing has come of it so far.

We had zone conference this week which was really good. They talked about flu season and how we all need to get flu shots. So, I got mine, but Elder Mora still needs to get his.

We also had dinner with the nicest people I have ever met. So, for some context really quick. The Manhattan Beach Elders (Elder Terry, and Elder Sands) didn't have a dinner appointment and neither did we so we decided to get dinner together. We chose to go to The Kettle which is a restaurant near the beach in Manhattan Beach.

So, the four of us walked in and almost right away Elder Terry recognized some people eating in the corner. He went over to talk to them and turns out they are some formers in their area book and I actually remember knocking on their door trying to contact them when I was in Manhattan Beach.  Well, these people are so kind and almost instantly found a table big enough to fit all of us also and paid for our meals. And let me tell you this place wasn't cheap.

We had wonderful food and an even better conversation. Ginny and Howard are the nicest people I have ever met. It's hard to describe, but it was felt so good to be surrounded by friends I know I will have for life and just enjoy each other's company

The district as a whole started the transfer off really well but all of us are hitting some dry spots in our areas at the moment.

Weird to think this week is already the last week of the transfer and that my year mark is coming up in 2 1/2 weeks.

Elder Mora is such a good missionary. He is really good at asking questions and being bold with the questions that he asks.

On Sunday we had the Primary program and it was so funny to watch. Nothing better than having little kids scream at the top of their lungs about Jesus

As well on Sunday a recent convert in the ward gave us some words of encouragement to keep pressing forward in our missionary work. We have been having a really difficult time finding people to teach, but I'm grateful it has been giving us opportunities to talk to people

Again, sorry for the short email

I hope everyone has a good week and don't forget to enjoy the moments!
