Email: July 22, 2019 - "There were aliens that came to help us out, but it turns out they were human too!”

A nice little quote from one of the craziest contacts that I had on my mission. He wants to believe but he just can't cause humans aliens exist and cured us all apparently?

This week was interesting. It was pretty open for the most part with a lot of finding and a good amount of service as well. 

We had a lot of success this week which has been fantastic, the Lord truly is preparing people and has inspired President Cordón.

Another great thing is just our area in general, it is beautiful y’all, I can never complain about being able to walk right up to sand, smell the ocean and hear the waves all the while contacting and knocking some doors. The mission truly is great. 

We had our ups and downs this week. The downs consisted of us not being able to go to the Dodger game (they gave us approval to go again this year) but that's okay. You win some and you lose some. 

We also had exchanges with the zone leaders, and it was great. Again, it was absolutely great. Elder Dehlin is awesome and our stewardship interviews always give me what I need. 

We also got to say goodbye to our Elders quorum president as he moves to Portugal for a year.

Other than those, we pounded the pavement and moved some boxes and talked to some cool people
